Rimas Nedal Al-Mughair was a 14-year-old Palestinian girl who lived in the city of Rafah, in southern Gaza. She was martyred in Khan Yunis on April 8, 2025, during the ongoing genocide.

Rimas’s family was originally from the city of Yibna; they were forced to flee in 1948, during the Nakba, to the city of Rafah in Gaza. In Rafah, Rimas’s parents lived through the wars of 2006, 2008, 2012, 2014, and 2021, as well as the massacres of 2018–19.

Rimas had five siblings: one older brother and four younger sisters. She was always smiling and protecting her sisters; she was an outstanding student and loved everyone.

On May 17, 2024, the family was displaced to Khan Yunis by Israel. They were forced to relocate more than five times. During one displacement, her older brother, Hussam, was seriously injured and spent 27 days in intensive care.

Rimas cared for her injured brother for a year, brought water and food for the family, and helped during the constant displacements.

On April 8, 2025, after the Eid holiday, the Israelis bombed the tent next to the family’s; the parents were seriously injured, and Rimas was killed along with several people from the neighboring tents.
