Kamal Marish was an 11-year-old boy who lived in Gaza City with his father, Salman, and his older brother, Eid.
Los bomIsraeli bombing forced the family to move from their home, possibly in the Al Shati refugee camp, to a tent in a schoolyard in Gaza City.
His father made coffee every morning and poured it into two thermoses. Kamal and Eid sold it on the street market and in nearby restaurants; thus, they contributed to the family's income.
Everyone loved Kamal. He left at six in the morning and returned shortly before sunset. He sold coffee all day and then ran out to play with his friends.
Kamal dreamed of being an engineer and building towers to contribute to the reconstruction of Gaza.
On May 7, 2025, he was killed in the Israeli massacre that targeted a popular market near the Al-Shifa Medical Complex, where at least 17 people died, mostly children and vendors.
